In order to keep pace with our growing client base we seek Unity/Unreal XR Developers (Remote- PST Timezone) to support projects at our North American Studio in Portland, OR

You are part of a team of passionate creatives, developers and producers who create world-class visualization and immersive technology solutions that drive innovative brand experiences. You play a central part in building highly innovative commercial solutions for our B2B and B2C clients across a range of the most tactile and immersive digital mediums.

Help extend HF’s position at the cutting edge of XR visualization, development and deployment through the successful delivery of robust, best in class and/or first to market experiences for our clients.




  • Develop and deploy creative and innovative tech solutions to help deliver exciting projects for a range of clients and platforms, including web, mobile, AR, VR and MR.
  • Use your deep understanding of programming languages, algorithms, data structures and design patterns, to write performant and clean code, and clearly communicate your approach to your team via well commented documentation.
  • Support other developers and artists on programming tasks and scripting for both technical and creative pipelines
  • Participate in design and code reviews, and test, troubleshoot, debug, profile and optimize code.
  • Continuously research innovative ideas to improve efficiency and to solve technical challenges.



  • Strong commercial experience with Unreal Engine or Unity for VR/AR/MR 
  • Deep knowledge of C++ or C# languages, data structures and algorithms.
  • Working experience with source versioning (Git or Perforce)
  • Experience with Augmented Reality / Mixed Reality frameworks (ARKit, ARCore, MRTK for HoloLens, webAR)
  • Some experience with asset creation workflows in creative softwares such as Zbrush, Nuke, Houdini, 3DSMax, Maya, Substance Suite, CLO3D, Marvelous Designer, Adobe Creative Suite etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.




  • Knowledge of Python
  • Knowledge of Javascript and NodeJS
  • Knowledge of optimization techniques
  • Knowledge of shading languages or node graphs and graphic pipeline
  • Knowledge of content generative Machine Learning techniques such as Generative Adversarial Networks.
  • Experience with native iOS/Android development
  • Design of social filters (Spark AR, TikTok) 
  • Experience with web based AR (8th Wall, etc.) or interactive web development (ThreeJS, BabylonJS).
