We have exciting plans, and are now looking for a Senior Creative Technologist for our UK operations to join our world-class team. 


We want to grow HF into the most desirable, creative technology and content business in the world.


Working closely with the CTO, CIO, and General Manager, you are part of a team of passionate creatives, developers and producers who create world-class visualisation and immersive technology solutions that help transform customer experience, collaboration, and communication. 

You play a central part in defining and building highly innovative commercial solutions  for our B2B and B2C clients across a range of the most tactile and immersive mediums. 

You are involved right from the start of projects, helping define the technologies needed to bring to life compelling creative concepts, to configuring the right mix of internal/external resources, and all the way through to development and deployment.

You are a maker of premium creative technology experiences, and you are used to prototyping with the most recent devices and software technologies on the market; looking for the latest betas to test, with the desire to push the boundaries of what is possible with technology. 

You are client-facing, comfortable at being part of meetings and presentations with brands and agencies, communicating our ideas with convincing presentations that add great tech insights to compelling creative.

You are a strong advocate for solid engineering workflows,  you believe that behind a great immersive creative experience there is always a robust application designed with performance and  programming methodologies in mind.

  • Develop and deploy creative and innovative tech solutions to help deliver exciting projects for a range of clients and platforms, including web, mobile, AR and VR.

  • Work with client partners, producers, technical and creative leads to provide technical solutions and schematics  to inform budgeting, scheduling, and technical development during RFP, production and deployment stages.

  • Define, help to resource and then lead diverse teams of the best, most suitable internal and external technical talent, both remote and (and when feasible in future) onsite, through live project scoping, delivery and deployment.

  • Use your in-depth understanding of programming languages, algorithms, data structures and design patterns, to write performant and clean code, and clearly communicate your approach to your team via well commented documentation.


  • Support artists with their asset creation through well defined asset to development workflows, as well as within real-time environments, and in-engine implementation.

  • Participate in design and code reviews, and test, troubleshoot, debug, profile and optimise code to agreed project strategies and timelines.

  • Continuously research of innovative ideas to improve efficiency and to solve technical challenges


  • 3-5 years solid commercial experience with Unreal Engine, and Unity for VR/AR/XR/MR on multiple platforms and devices/ headsets.
  • High level of proficiency in C++/C#
  • Knowledge of shading programming and graphic pipeline
  • Solid software development  experience in a relevant industry - e.g. games, VR, visualisation
  • Ability to lead other developers in delivering high quality, reliable, well structured and  documented code.
  • Knowledge of source versioning (Git and Perforce)
  • Experience with Augmented Reality/ Mixed Reality frameworks (ARKit, ARCore, HoloLens, webAR)
  • Deep Knowledge of optimisation techniques
  • Experience with asset creation workflows in creative softwares such as Zbrush, Nuke, Houdini, 3DSMax, Maya, Substance Suite, CLO3D, Marvelous Designer, Adobe Creative Suite etc.
  • Experience in dealing directly with clients to discuss technical requirements in the context of specific creative goals.


  • Knowledge of Python
  • Experience with native iOS/Android development, 
  • Experience with web based AR (8th Wall, etc) or social filters (Spark AR, TikTok) 
  • Backend web development
  • Experience with cloud services
