 Retouch and CG Producer

We are Happy Finish, a global creative production collective making new things in new ways. We specialise in high-end Retouch and CG, as well as VR, AR and AI projects. We’re based in a cool new-build office just off Old Street in the heart of London's creative tech community.

We’re a diverse bunch of makers with a passion for un-compromised creative excellence, and we have a fun, and vibrant work environment, where everyone is focused on delivering the best, most compelling creative projects for global brands and agencies.

We have exciting plans, and are now looking for a talented, and diligent Retouch- and CG Producer to join our world-class team, to support creative digital imagery production for advertising campaigns.

You are an enthusiastic and ambitious individual with a passion for production, and working with creative talent.

You’re totally at home in creative retouch and CG post-production, and you have a natural knack for making clients feel they are in safe hands. At the same time, talent love working with you, because you make it possible they can concentrate on what they do best: wow clients with stunning creative solutions.

You are a great communicator; face to face in conversation, and in writing, with collaborators, digital artists, and clients. You are outgoing, confident, and have the ability to multitask in a busy environment on concurrent projects, meeting budgets, and deadlines.

You believe in creative solutions, not problems, and you're always on the look-out for new ways to create new things, and to adopt innovative solutions to the way you work.

Reporting to the Head of Production, you will work closely with the stills production team and our team of represented Retouch and CGI Artists in producing award-winning Retouch and CG projects for world-renowned photographers, agencies and brands.

This is a great opportunity to join a world-class team, and become part of an exciting, and inspiring creative powerhouse.

Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK

You will be tasked with scoping, resourcing, assisting with costing and scheduling of multiple parallel projects across Retouch, and CGI

You liaise between creatives, our business development team, account managers, and our clients to ensure smooth workflow delivery of high quality assets, in schedule and on budget.

You work alongside our lead artists throughout the entire post-production process.

You have complete understanding of the client’s deliverables from the outset of every project, and you act as the final backstop in terms of quality control prior to delivery.

You make sure scheduling, billing, reporting and time management systems are used as intended, and you take an active role in forecasting and planning for new projects and resources.

You ensure our account teams are continually informed of ongoing projects and of any additional demands in terms of time and budget, and you make sure that purchase orders are received in a timely manner, as and when required.

You manage talent requirements, including sourcing staff from an extensive roster of represented artists and freelance specialists

What we’d like to see:

You’ve worked at the top level of a Post Production facility for a minimum of 2 years, ideally in a similar capacity and with a demonstrable track record of success.

You have experience working with brands, agencies, photographers and agents,  – from campaign photography, to still life and CGI.

You are a self-motivated, methodical and very well organized multi-tasker, who loves being pro-active, and paying strong attention to detail.

You have a passion for great work and you can spot when something doesn’t look right.

You have a thorough understanding of CG and retouch workflows, from concept, photographic capture right through to delivery

You have sound working knowledge of stakeholders, roles, functions, capabilities, equipment, and applications within the Post Production Department.

You love interpreting creative briefs and you’re capable of quantifying, pitching and quoting all aspects of post-production undertaken by the business and keeping projects on track.

You’re a natural at encouraging a strong, enjoyable team ethic, whilst promoting a hardworking, and fun environment
